Let Us Sell Your Instrument

If you’re looking to part with an instrument, we offer several services to help you do just that.

Consignment Sales

We’ll inspect your instrument; agree on a suggested selling price; then place it for sale in our store as well as online. When the instrument sells, we deduct 20% for our services then write you a check for the balance. You’re free to pick the instrument up at any time before it sells at no cost. If you have time to wait for the instrument to sell, this option generally nets you the most money.

Note: If your instrument requires repairs to sell, our costs for this service will be deducted from your sale proceeds. If the instrument does not sell, you will be responsible for paying the repair charges before picking up the instrument.

Trade-Ins

At our discretion, we may offer to accept your used instrument in trade toward another store-owned item.

Store Purchase

Based on the instrument’s desirability and condition, we will occasionally offer to purchase your used instrument outright.  This option puts cash in your hand immediately but will generally net you somewhat less than selling the instrument on consignment or trading it in.

To discuss the options available to you, just bring your instrument(s) into our store during regular business hours. No appointment is necessary.

Cool spot with a great antique righty Gibson acoustic transformed into a lefty that I wish I could afford!
